Marjon
Barton
Marjon hails originally from the
Netherlands but has worked and lived overseas all her adult life. Currently, she is teaching Early Childhood
Art at Saigon South International School.
In her spare time she makes jewelry, which she sells on-line. She has had no formal art training but art
has always been a big part of her life.
Over the last three years, Marjon has
become interested in exploring repetitive movements that create a meditative
state of mind. Her work searches for a
balance between what the subconscious produces and the conscious need to create
interest, balance and movement within each piece. 
SYNCHRONICITY: SERENDIPITY MODIFIED
is a series of work that explores repetition, randomness and pattern, and the
human need to create beauty.
